Convert images from one format to another. It reads PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF and SVG, and saves PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF or GIF. Use it to shrink images for a website with WebP or AVIF, or to turn TIFF and HEIC files that will not open into common formats.
Add many images at once to convert them all to the same format, then download the results in a single ZIP file.
How to use
- Drag the images onto the page or click to choose them. Files in different formats can be mixed.
- Pick the target format under “Output format”.
- For JPEG, WebP or AVIF, adjust the “Quality”. To fill transparent areas with a color, turn on “Fill transparent background”.
- Click “Convert all”, then download files one by one or all at once with “Download all as ZIP”.
Frequently asked questions
Are animated GIFs supported?
If you choose GIF as the output, the animation is kept. With PNG, JPEG, WebP or AVIF, only the first frame is saved. If your browser cannot decode animated images, even GIF output keeps only the first frame.
What happens to transparent backgrounds?
PNG, WebP and AVIF keep transparency as it is. JPEG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. To use another color, turn on “Fill transparent background” and pick one.
Which format should I choose?
JPEG or WebP suit photos; PNG or WebP suit logos and graphics that need transparency. AVIF gives the smallest files, but some older programs cannot open it.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens inside the browser you are using right now. Your files are never sent anywhere, so no copy of your photos or documents is left on someone else's server.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
